What You'll Do

Internal Communications Strategy and Business Alignment

  • Lead and execute internal communications strategies aligned to business priorities and growth objectives
  • Drive change communications and support business transformation initiatives
  • Translate complex operational, financial, and strategic topics into clear, practical messaging
  • Reinforce an ownership mindset by connecting communication to performance and results
  • Partner cross-functionally to support enterprise communications, leadership messaging, and key business moments
  • Establish consistent communication rhythms that improve clarity and reduce noise

Frontline and Workforce Communications

  • Develop segmented employee communications for frontline, plant-based, and corporate audiences
  • Ensure messaging is accessible and relevant across shifts, roles, and locations
  • Partner directly with plant and operations leaders to strengthen communication at the site level
  • Use a mix of digital and offline channels such as intranet, email, print, and visual content to reach a distributed workforce

Content Strategy and Executive Communications

  • Lead content strategy across internal channels, including newsletters (CNG Insider), intranet, email, and leadership communications
  • Develop and support executive communications, including talking points, presentations, and company-wide messaging
  • Own and manage the editorial calendar aligned to business priorities
  • Simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and actionable communication
  • Use digital and visual storytelling, including video and graphics, to strengthen engagement

Channels and Platforms

  • Lead the evolution of internal communication platforms, including SharePoint (intranet), Microsoft Teams, and Viva Engage
  • Own decisions on channel, timing, and format to ensure communication is effective and relevant
  • Introduce and scale digital communication practices such as mobile-friendly content, targeted messaging, and video
  • Improve channel adoption and usability
  • Use analytics to enhance targeting and performance

Employee Engagement and Culture

  • Drive communication strategies that strengthen engagement and connect employees to the business
  • Execute internal campaigns, events, and key company moments
  • Highlight employee stories, recognition, and team achievements

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze communication effectiveness, including engagement, reach, behavior, and feedback
  • Use data to inform content strategy, segmentation, and channel decisions
  • Continuously test, learn, and refine communication approaches
What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in internal, corporate, or employee communications
  • Experience supporting executive or leadership communications preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments preferred
  • Experience communicating with frontline and hourly employees
  • Strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills
  • Experience managing digital communication channels such as intranet, email, and collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, or similar platforms
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
