Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Cloud Release Manager / Release Train Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud platform release governance, CI/CD, and Agile/SAFe tooling and a proven ability to deliver controlled, auditable, and low-risk production releases at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end release lifecycle for the Internal Cloud Platform, from planning through production promotion.
• Coordinate dependencies across engineering, operations, security, and product teams to ensure safe and predictable changes.
• Define and enforce release standards, cadence, and readiness criteria for consistent delivery.
• Manage release calendars, change windows, and production schedules, integrating CI/CD outputs and automation workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years managing release lifecycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services.
• Expertise in release management, change management, and dependency coordination in multi-team environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile/SAFe tooling, including release tracking for large backlogs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, including production promotion controls.
• Experience operating in regulated environments with strong stability, auditability, and change controls.

Preferred Skills:

• SAFe Release Train Engineer, ITIL Change Management, or equivalent certification.
• 5-7+ years supporting infrastructure or cloud platform releases at enterprise scale.
• Experience with VMware-based platforms, internal clouds, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven ability to define release standards, readiness criteria, and governance frameworks.
• Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience.
