    Anticipated Funded through FY2027 Perkins, the After School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Instructor will develop, run and oversee a 4-week career explore program for middle school students. Major Responsibilities:

    • Provide 4, 2-hour hands-on sessions exposing middle school students to Minuteman's Career and Technical Education programs.
    • Promote Minuteman as a future high school option for all middle school students.
    • Order necessary materials for the career explore program offered.
    • Supervise middle school students during all sessions and breaks, with safety as the number one priority.
    • Create engaging hands-on activities to expose students to Minuteman's career fields.
    • Accompany students to and from the student union during all transitions.
    • Train middle school students on program safety and all equipment used.
    • Communicate any student concerns to the After School CTE Program Coordinator.
    • Offer career-based certifications as appropriate.
    • Other duties as assigned by the After School CTE Program Coordinator.

    Qualifications:

    • Experienced in developing and providing exploratory opportunities for students.
    • Self-motivated; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, through email and on the telephone.

    Terms of Employment:

    • After-School.
    • Stipend.

    Effective Dates of Employment:

    • 2026-2027 school year
    • Program after school dates are: October 22, 29 and Nov 5, 12 from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM.

    Supervisor:

    • After school Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Coordinator.

    Compensation:

    • The total stipend for this position is $1,350 for the entire assignment.
