    • Assist Process Engineers with injection molding process development and optimization activities.
    • Support process documentation, including setup sheets, work instructions, process parameter records, and engineering standards.
    • Participate in molding trials, tool qualifications, and process validation activities under appropriate supervision.
    • Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data related to scrap, cycle time, downtime, utilization, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
    • Assist with root cause investigations of quality concerns using structured problem-solving methods.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
    • Participate in shop-floor observations, manufacturing audits, 5S activities, and visual management improvements.
    • Use basic statistical tools to evaluate process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Support engineering projects involving automation, robotics, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
    • Create reports and presentations summarizing data, project findings, progress, and recommendations.
    • Collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to the assigned mentor.
    • Complete a defined internship project and present the results to relevant plant stakeholders at the conclusion of the assignment.
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
    • Completion of relevant engineering coursework or laboratory experience is preferred.
    • Previous internship, co-op, manufacturing, technical project, or hands-on experience is beneficial but not required.
