What makes you an ideal candidate?

• Junior or Senior classification preferred.

• Exposure to Power BI, Databricks, SQL, Python, or other reporting/data-analysis tools preferred

• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate findings and present information clearly.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:

• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
• Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
• Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
• Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection

Experience & Education

• Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor''s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with at least one semester remaining upon the start of the internship.

• Preferred majors: Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

About the Role

As an Operations Analyst intern, you wil gain hands-on experience in operations analytics by supporting reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives that inform business decisions. This role analyzes operational data and performance trends, prepares reports and presentations, validates data accuracy, and collaborates with business partners to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

In this role you will:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of operational reporting and analysis to support business needs and decision-making.
• Analyze operational data, trends, processes, and performance metrics to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
• Support scheduled and ad hoc reporting and data requests for business partners.
• Conduct data and business analysis using data mining, spreadsheet, and reporting tools.
• Apply data analysis and validation practices to help ensure reporting is accurate and reliable.
• Assist with projects supporting new reporting, analytics, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant data and information resources.
• Analyze current business processes and help identify opportunities for increased efficiency or improved performance.
• Summarize findings and develop clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical materials to communicate findings to team members and business leaders.
• Maintain status on assigned projects and proactively communicate progress, risks, and needs to the team.
• Collaborate with business partners and team members on analytical projects and information requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned
