Description

What this Department does:

As part of the Project Management Engineering Department, Flow Assurance team performs advanced hydraulic/ flow assurance simulations for decarbonization/ clean energy of surface facilities, pipeline, and sequestration to provide support and consultation for system operations, projects, engineering, maintenance, and ongoing business development activities.

What you'll do:

  • Learn how to use hydraulic and fluid property calculations software with the mentorship of the Flow Assurance Team. Possible help with updating models if they are already familiar with the software.
  • Assisting Flow Assurance Engineers for gathering data and information needed for running simulations
  • Post-processing simulation results and preparing presentations and reports
  • Attend to the related trainings/ webinars as needed

Education:

Students who are actively enrolled in an approved Bachelor/master's in mechanical, Chemical, and Petroleum Engineering program with an expected graduation date of December 2026 - May 2028.

Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamic
  • Communication skills
  • Multi-tasking skill

What else do you need to know:

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.

Compensation And Other Benefits

  • Pay Range $26.18-$37.09USD Hourly
  • The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include; paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.
