Intermediate Project Architect

About the Opportunity
A highly regarded architecture and interior design firm is seeking an Intermediate Project Architect to support the design and delivery of high-end commercial interior projects throughout New York City. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across all phases of project development, from concept and design development through construction administration and project closeout.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong architect with advanced Revit skills, a passion for commercial interiors, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate comprehensive construction document packages
Support design development efforts across multiple projects
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases
Conduct site surveys and existing conditions documentation
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Participate in construction administration activities, including:
RFIs
Submittal reviews
Site visits
Coordination meetings
Maintain project quality control and technical accuracy
Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to project delivery from concept through construction completion

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
