We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living community. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general building maintenance and repairs
• Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with painting, light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds maintenance
• Ensure common areas and exterior spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Help maintain compliance with safety regulations and community standards
• Participate in emergency response and on-call duties as assigned
• Work respectfully and courteously with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Experience working with seniors is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
