District Job PostingInterim Supervisor of TransportationDistrict OfficeApplication Deadline: Open Until Filled Reports to: Business Administrator, Coordinator of Facilities and Operations or designeeDescription: The district is seeking an interim Supervisor of TransportationResponsibilities: To coordinate the transportation of students to and from school and co-curricular activities in the most safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner possible, while performing administrative and clerical tasks as required for the efficient operation of District Transportation.Qualifications:Valid School Transportation Supervisor Certificate or ability to obtain the same.Valid Commercial Driver's license with the following endorsements: School Bus DriverExcellent driving recordKnowledge of state laws and regulations governing school bus construction and maintenance, and pupil transportationDemonstrated experience in personnel management, route scheduling, fleet maintenance and cost containmentComputer Literacy (Routing software, MS Office, Google Products)High school diplomaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with VersaTrans or similar transportation software preferredPrior experience in similar roles preferredCompensation:$250 to $375 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
