Interim Supervisor, Case Management Needed in Hampton, Virginia!

The Position

  • An Interim Supervisor, Case Management is needed to provide leadership for an inpatient case management department.
  • Reporting to the Regional Director - Inpatient Case Management, this leader will oversee approximately 15 direct reports.
  • Key responsibilities include facilitating efficient daily operations and team management, conducting one-on-one meetings and staff rounding, ensuring payroll and scheduling accuracy, providing staff coaching and corrective action, supporting regulatory survey readiness, implementing strategies to improve staff retention and fill vacancies, coordinating hiring and onboarding activities, and assessing and implementing departmental improvement opportunities in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient case management leadership experience and demonstrated knowledge of social determinants of health and experience working with diverse patient populations. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • BSN required.
  • Active Virginia RN license or compact state RN license required.
  • Case management certification, such as CCM, ACM, or a related credential, required.
  • Previous case management leadership experience required, with inpatient case management experience and expertise in social determinants of health and diverse patient populations strongly preferred.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
