    Senior Manager, FP&A (Interim Consultant)

    Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
    Duration: Approximately 12 Months
    Compensation: $75-$90/hour
    Start Date: Immediate

    About the Opportunity

    A large, publicly traded technology and communications organization with approximately $900M in annual revenue is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Senior Manager Consultant to serve as a strategic partner to the VP of FP&A during a period of organizational transformation.

    This is a highly visible role designed to fill a critical support role within the FP&A function following a recent acquisition and internal restructuring. The consultant will support the VP, providing senior-level financial analysis, reporting, executive support, and business partnership across the organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong corporate FP&A experience, advanced financial modeling expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee consolidated corporate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
    • Perform senior-level review of financial information before submission to executive leadership.
    • Identify reporting inconsistencies, missing assumptions, unusual variances, and emerging business risks.
    • Enhance existing integrated three-statement financial models and develop new rolling forecasts for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow performance.
    • Support preparation of monthly executive reporting packages, management presentations, and board-level materials.
    • Draft financial commentary and provide clear insights into key business drivers, trends, and risks.
    • Create and update financial dashboards, KPIs, charts, and presentation materials.
    • Help navigate a complex budgeting and planning cycle within a changing corporate structure.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership responsibilities.
    • Experience at the FP&A Senior Manager level.
    • Strong background supporting large, complex organizations with revenues of several hundred million dollars or greater.
    • Advanced experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.
    • Demonstrated expertise building and improving sophisticated three-statement financial models.
    • Experience preparing board presentations and executive-level reporting packages.
    • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities required.
    • OneStream experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to remain calm, objective, and data-driven in a fast-moving and uncertain environment.
