Interim Senior Financial Analyst

We are partnering with a North Dallas-area client seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to step into an immediate interim need due to a team member going on leave. This role will focus heavily on financial reporting and analytics, supporting leadership with timely and accurate insights during a critical coverage period. The assignment is expected to last at least 30 days, with potential to extend based on business needs. This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in office and 1 remote each week. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a collaborative and fast-moving environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support business decision-making
• Leverage Power BI to build and enhance reporting capabilities
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
• Support ongoing process improvements within reporting and analytics functions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role
• Strong expertise in Power BI and financial reporting tools
• Advanced Excel skills (details to be confirmed, but strong proficiency required)
• Ability to work independently and operate with a sense of urgency in an interim capacity
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly to leadership
• Background check required prior to start
