Interim Quality Director - Hospital in California

Reid & Associates Executive Search is partnering with a respected hospital in California to identify an experienced Interim Quality Director for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to a healthcare organization in need of a hands-on leader in Quality, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
Role Overview:

The Interim Quality Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the hospital's Quality department, driving process improvements, and ensuring strong collaboration across key functions, including Risk and Regulatory. You will:
  • Lead and manage operations in Quality, Risk, and Regulatory functions.
  • Provide guidance and support to an internal team member currently covering the role, with a focus on coaching in Risk & Compliance.
  • Utilize your experience to implement improvements, particularly within high-acuity areas such as the Emergency Department.
Location and Benefits:

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in hospital Quality, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS survey processes and corrective action planning.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, especially in high-pressure environments like the ED.
  • RN license is preferred but not required.
