Interim Perinatal Nursing Practice Specialist

An Oregon hospital is seeking their next Interim Perinatal Nursing Practice Specialist!

The Position

• The Interim Perinatal Nursing Practice Specialist will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations throughout the department(s).
• The Interim Perinatal Nursing Practice specialist will oversee three units including Labor & Delivery, Mother and Baby, and Lactation while providing a wide range of patient care and focusing highly on quality/performance improvement.
• This leader will focus on ongoing departmental initiatives including patient experience/patient satisfaction, phase 1 recovery, a pre-existing postpartum hemorrhage project, and quality metrics throughout the department.
• This leader will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment while emphasizing communication, collaboration, and strong engagement throughout the department.
• Ideal candidates will bring strong knowledge/experience pertaining to Labor & Delivery and/or Womens Services, and ACOG/AWHONN standards.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• BSN is required; MSN is strongly preferred.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
