The Position

• An Interim Nurse Manager of Med/Surg/ICU is needed to provide interim nursing leadership across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Intensive Care services, overseeing daily operations, staffing, and clinical performance to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• The Interim Nurse Manager will lead a nursing team of approximately 150 FTEs while supporting staffing effectiveness and leadership alignment.
• Strengthen staff engagement and morale through visible, approachable leadership, consistent communication, and a supportive environment where nurses feel valued, heard, and empowered to succeed.
• This leader will promote accountability and professional standards through respectful coaching, clear expectations, and collaboration with frontline staff and nursing leadership within a unionized environment.
• Bring strong inpatient nursing leadership experience and a balanced leadership style that combines empathy with accountability, helping stabilize operations, build trust, and foster a positive team culture.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree is required.
• Active MA RN license is required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
