Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a behavioral health contract in San Antonio, TX. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, a defined coverage schedule, and the chance to work in an established inpatient setting. Onsite training is available.
Requirements
Active Texas Pharmacist license required
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Omnicell experience preferred; training available
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to fulfill after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders
Support inpatient pharmacy operations and medication distribution
Utilize HCS and Omnicell systems (training provided)
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe medication management
Maintain regulatory compliance and pharmacy standards
