INTERIM DIRECTOR OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING Southern California | Nonprofit Health System | Interim Engagement

A respected nonprofit health system in Southern California seeks an experienced Interim Director of Biomedical Engineering to lead its Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) program at a flagship acute-care hospital.

Responsibilities include: oversight of the clinical engineering team, medical equipment maintenance and lifecycle programs, regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission, CLIA), capital equipment planning, and CMMS management.

Qualified candidates will have:

• CBET, CRES, CLES, or CHTM certification
• 5–8+ years of biomedical engineering experience
• Proven HTM team leadership
• Strong CMMS and asset management proficiency

Compensation includes a travel allowance for candidates relocating from outside the Southern California area.
