Interim Director, Case Management Needed in Spokane, WA!

The Position

  • An Interim Director, Case Management is needed to provide strategic and operational leadership for acute care case management services across two hospital sites.
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Case Management, this leader will oversee four direct reports and 44 FTEs.
  • Key responsibilities include leading case management operations, improving length-of-stay performance, supporting risk mitigation and reimbursement initiatives, collaborating closely with Utilization Management and Revenue Cycle, and ensuring effective patient-centered care coordination across both facilities.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive acute care case management leadership experience with a strong understanding of risk mitigation, financial management, and reimbursement. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in a health-related field required.
  • Current Washington RN license or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) required.
  • Eight years of clinical experience and five years of healthcare leadership experience required; acute care case management experience preferred.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $155,000 to $165,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
