We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership during a transitional period with one of our High Point clients. This individual will oversee all aspects of the organization's financial operations, partner with executive leadership to drive business objectives, and ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader with a proven track record of guiding organizations through growth, change, system implementations, acquisitions, restructures, or executive transitions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO, executive leadership team, and board of directors.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Develop and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting capabilities.
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital requirements.
Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
Partner with department leaders to improve profitability and operational performance.
Oversee audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
Assess finance team structure and provide leadership, mentoring, and recommendations for long-term success.
Present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced credential strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
Previous CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or Interim CFO experience required.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Experience leading organizations through periods of change, growth, or transition.
Proven ability to evaluate and improve financial processes and internal controls.
This role is anticipated to last 6-8 months with a possibility for an extension. This is an immediate, onsite needs so all applicants should be available immediately.
Pay Details: $75.00 to $100.00 per hour
