Position Summary: Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Education (COE), the Interim Associate Dean provides academic and administrative leadership in curriculum innovation, student success, and institutional partnerships across the colleges three divisions (Education & Leadership, Health & Exercise Science, and Deaf Studies & Professional Studies). Working in close collaboration with department chairs, academic committees, division leaders, and clinical/internship coordinators, this role supports program alignm ent with field experiences, grant -funded initiatives, and external community partners. As a 9 -month interim administrative appointment, this position focuses on advancing undergraduate and graduate student achievement, facilitating curricular development, supporting faculty teaching excellence, and providing academic oversight for college- wide sponsored projects and partnerships. Required Qualifications: Please ensure your application materials clearly demonstrate how you meet the following: • Master's degree and leadership experience in higher education at the associate dean or dean level OR Doctoral degree (Ph.D., J.D., Ed.D.) or other terminal degree • Current tenured or tenure- track faculty member in any division within the College of Education. • Terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., DAT, etc.) in a field represented within the College of Education. • Minimum of 3 years of higher education administrative or leadership experience (e.g., department chair, program coordinator, grant director, or committee lead). • Demonstrated experience overseeing or contributing to grant -funded projects, external community/agency partnerships, or clinical/internship field experiences. • Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs and student support initiatives.
