    Description

    VENTEON & HARVARD RESOURCE SOLUTIONS are hiring an Interim Accounting Manager to provide support in Troy, MI. Person will be responsible for full cycle accounting oversight and transaction level support, own GL coding, month end close processes, monthly reporting, account reconciliations, and year-end audit.

     

    Requirements of the Accounting Manager:
        Degree in Accounting or Finance needed.
        Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
        Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS Accounting Standards.
        Experience with full cycle accounting.
        Prefer experience with complex accounting transactions, FX, Investments and understanding of

          multiple currency environments.
        Supervisory capability.
        Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERPs, SAP S4Hanna, HFM or One Stream is highly

          preferred.

     

    Duties of the Accounting Manager: 
    Provide accounting and reporting for a portfolio of divisions within the Group. Act as a financial liaison between divisional Accountants, Controller Corporate North America and other Corporate Departments. Provide supervision for 2-3 Accountants.


        Maintain and execute consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures, adhering to

         company-wide policies and procedures.
        Provide Financial oversight  by managing the Month/Quarterly/Year End close process, reporting, and       account reconciliations in a timely manner. Review and approve journal entries, monitor and control

          GL coding accuracy.
        Trial balance review of the assigned divisions.
        Analyze and approve account reconciliations for all balance sheet and key income statement

          accounts. 
        Ensure integrity of financial system, general ledger, and sub ledgers.
        Oversee and perform complex GL postings and reconciliations to ensure accuracy on financial

         reporting and to assist in identifying and correcting any reconciling or unusual items.
        Assist in preparing entries for the group s investments and financing operations such as external

          investments, revaluations/adjustments.
        Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly variance analysis on multiple divisions with multiple currencies.
        Complete and Manage tax accounting transactions that affect multiple divisions.
