Responsibilities:

As an Interim Accounting Manager, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as financial statements and budget performance.
3. Ensure compliance with ASC606 and other relevant accounting standards.
4. Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
5. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and decision support.
6. Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures increase accuracy and efficiency.
7. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
8. Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.
9. Align and enhance company procedures and policies with business objectives.
10. Direct the budget process to ensure the accurate and timely completion of an annual budget, which is aligned with the strategic plan.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Knowledge of ASC606, Revenue Accounting, financial reporting and data analysis is required.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to manage teams across different offices and locations.
5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and related systems.
9. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
10. Experience in the tech services industry is a plus.
