Intensivist - Medical & Cardiac ICU at AdventHealth Orlando!

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a dynamic, energetic intensivist to join our Medical & Cardiac ICU team. This is an opportunity to practice high-acuity critical care alongside an experienced, established group of intensivists and a collaborative multidisciplinary team - with a meaningful academic role built in.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality critical care across our medical and cardiac-medical ICUs, including shifts at our South campus quaternary care center and other moderate-to-large ICUs within the Central Florida Division.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship in partnership with our Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship programs.
• Help shape the future of our critical care service through ongoing program development.

Responsibilities:

• Support clinical quality in the Medical ICU, including quality metrics and participation in quality assurance teams.
• Educate advanced practice providers (APPs, critical care fellows, and new staff.
• Participate in program development and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (ABIM.
• Experience in medical ICU settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across both private-practice and employed-physician models.
