    What You Will Do

    • Draft, review, and negotiate patent licenses while managing patent acquisition and disposition matters.
    • Structure and negotiate ownership and IP allocation in joint development and collaboration agreements.
    • Collaborate with corporate/M&A, finance, and IP litigation teams to ensure IP is a key value driver in transactions.
    • Conduct IP diligence in M&A and financing transactions, assessing ownership, encumbrances, and transferability.
    • Lead sophisticated IP deal workstreams, coordinating next steps with internal teams and external counterparties.
    • Analyze complex patent transaction terms and produce concise issue summaries with strategic recommendations.

    Ideal Candidate Background

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in intellectual property transactions, specifically in patent acquisition and licensing.
    • Proven track record of drafting and negotiating sophisticated IP deal documents.
    • Experience managing transactional workstreams and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex issues and recommend positions effectively.

    Preferred

    • Broader experience in technology transactions, including enterprise licensing and IP diligence in M&A.
    • Familiarity with financial services industry dynamics and regulatory considerations.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The base salary for this role ranges from $260K to $390K, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and professional growth.
