    Description

    Here at EQT, We have an exciting opportunity for a regionally based (PA, WV, OH) Engineer I/II/III (Integrity). This role will perform routine work assignments within the pipeline and storage integrity management department. In addition, the incumbent will assist in the development and design of operational and procedural improvements.

    The Integrity Engineer I/II/III responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Work in cross-functional teams to develop operating processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Apply knowledge of commonly-used engineering concepts, practices and procedures to perform assigned tasks.
    • Demonstrate the ability to apply engineering theories and concepts to increasingly complex problems over time, with guidance from immediate supervisor.
    • Work in cross-functional teams to develop operating processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Conduct external audits from regulatory agencies.
    • Travel to field locations required on an as needed basis.

    Required Experience and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering science from an accredited engineering college or university.
    • 2+ years of related experience.
    • Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs.
    • Working knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192 and 195 and API1171.
    • Ability to contribute in a team environment.
    • Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing.
    • Knowledge of basic engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory.
    • Works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and departmental expectations to perform the duties of the job.
    • Ability to think analytically and solve basic problems.
    • Familiarity with metal loss/burst pressure calculations, well surveillance logging or in-line inspection.
    • Familiarity with ESRI ARC GIS applications.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • PE certification preferred.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with statistical data analysis is preferred.
