Indian River State College is seeking a talented and solutions-oriented Integration Specialist to help power the technology connections that keep our College running smoothly. In this critical role, you will design, develop, and support integrations between enterprise applications, cloud services, databases, and third-party systems, ensuring accurate, secure, and reliable data exchange across the institution. Working closely with technology teams, vendors, faculty, and staff, you will solve complex challenges, optimize business processes, and help deliver the seamless digital experiences that support student success and operational excellence.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, develops, implements, monitors, and supports integrations between the College's enterprise applications, cloud services, databases, and external systems. Works with technology teams, College departments, and vendors to analyze integration requirements, maintain reliable data exchange, troubleshoot interface failures, and ensure that integrations meet operational, security, and data-quality standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must able to respond effectively during emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations and off-hours maintenance as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 25 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.

To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.
