Integration & Operations Specialist

Location: NYC, onsite

Salary: $160,000-190,000 plus equity

Client/Job Summary:

Our client is building a financial services platform and is seeking an Integration & Operations Specialist to oversee their operations, technology, and M&A integration functions. This role will focus on bringing together systems, vendors, and operational processes as the business continues to grow through strategic partnerships and expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects that unify processes, systems, and vendors across newly added business lines.
  • Review existing tools, contracts, and workflows to identify opportunities for simplification, cost savings, and operational improvement.
  • Help standardize key business infrastructure, including people, finance, and operational systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to replace manual processes with scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure projects move from planning through execution.
  • Create repeatable frameworks and best practices that support future growth and expansion efforts.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, business transformation, integration, consulting, or related environments.
  • Hands-on experience improving processes, consolidating systems, streamlining vendors, or supporting integration initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results independently.
  • Comfortable working across teams and communicating with both operational and technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, or other complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Exposure to operational scaling, business integrations, or technology implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with evaluating systems and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Experience within the retirement, wealth management, or broader financial services ecosystem is a plus.
