    About the Role

    This role provides engineering capacity across the full Ecosystem team portfolio - VMware/VCF, Hyper-V, Kubernetes/OCP, OpenStack, and Platform9. You will work alongside the Principal and Senior engineers to implement features, fix bugs, harden security, automate testing, and maintain certification currency across a broad set of integrations. An excellent role for an engineer with a broad systems background who wants to develop deep expertise across multiple virtualization and cloud-native platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement security patches and bug fixes across rVCP, SRA, and Aria Operations integrations
    • Maintain test lab environments (vSphere, VCF, Hyper-V) and execute certification validation test plans
    • Assist with BCG and SVVP submission artefact preparation - documentation, test logs, configuration matrices
    • Contribute to CSI driver feature development and bug fixes for Kubernetes and OCP integrations
    • Write and maintain Helm charts, OLM bundles, and deployment documentation
    • Execute Kubernetes conformance and OCP certification test suites and triage failures
    • Develop and maintain automated integration tests across all platform integrations
    • Own CI pipeline health for integration test jobs; investigate and resolve flaky tests
    • Triage and remediate CVEs in dependencies across all integration projects
    • Conduct dependency upgrades, library audits, and SBOM maintenance

    Required Qualifications

    • 3+ years of software engineering experience in systems, infrastructure, or storage domains
    • Solid programming skills in at least two of: Go, Java, Python, C++
    • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi or Hyper-V at an engineering or advanced admin level
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes: deploying applications, working with PVCs, storage classes, and basic cluster operations
    • Experience writing automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
    • Understanding of storage concepts: NFS, block storage, snapshots, thin provisioning
    • Comfortable working across multiple concurrent workstreams with varying technology stacks

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with VMware plugin/adapter development (VAAI, vROps MP, SRA, vCenter plugin)
    • Exposure to OpenStack operations or development
    • Red Hat OpenShift or CKA certification
    • Experience in a storage vendor or infrastructure ISV environment
    • Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
