    Description

    1. SIF Review and Integration Preparation

    • Download and review the Site Integration File (SIF) from the Telecommunication IOP Portal.
    • Validate site identifiers, equipment scope, software requirements, IP information, transport dependencies, and planned LTE/NR configuration.
    • Confirm site readiness against the approved RFDS/CD, work order, maintenance window, and Telecommunication-approved MOP.
    • Prepare the required integration scripts and confirm that script values match the approved site design before execution.
    • Coordinate missing or conflicting site data with the appropriate Telecommunication engineering, switch, transport, or FAE contacts.

    2. Ericsson BBU Integration and Commissioning

    • Integrate and commission Ericsson Baseband platforms, including 6630, 6648, 6651, and 6672, as applicable to the site design.
    • Upload and execute the applicable integration scripts using approved Ericsson tools and Telecommunication procedures.
    • Configure and validate LTE and 5G NR sectors, carriers, radio relationships, and required site parameters.
    • Support new-site builds, baseband migrations, carrier additions, FD-MIMO/MOD activities, and sector cutovers.
    • Perform pre-checks, controlled implementation, post-checks, alarm review, and service restoration validation.
    • Troubleshoot script failures, configuration mismatches, radio link issues, transport issues, and integration alarms.

    3. Nokia IXR-e Router Configuration and Transport Validation

    • Connect the Ericsson BBU and SiteBoss to the assigned Nokia IXR-e interfaces according to the site design.
    • Validate the assigned router ports, SFP type, fiber path, link state, IP addressing, gateway, and backhaul readiness.
    • Load or execute Telecommunication-provided router scripts and support initial router integration.
    • Provision or verify required VLANs and services for BBU management, backhaul, synchronization, and SiteBoss connectivity as applicable.
    • Use SecureCRT or an approved terminal client to perform CLI verification and troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with Telecommunication Switch or Transport teams when ports, VLANs, services, or circuit paths are not defined or operational.

    4. SiteBoss Integration and Alarm Migration

    • Configure and integrate the SiteBoss controller using the assigned network settings and approved Telecommunication procedure.
    • Validate the SiteBoss connection to the assigned IXR-e or transport port.
    • Configure IP address and gateway information and verify network reachability.
    • Migrate and validate external alarms, including required site environmental and equipment alarms.
    • Perform alarm testing with the responsible Telecommunication team and resolve communication or mapping issues.
    • Document the final alarm status and provide required test evidence.

    5. Testing, Acceptance, and Closeout

    • Coordinate with Telecommunication FAE, NOC, Switch, Transport, RF, GC/construction teams, and other field stakeholders during site turn-up.
    • Support and troubleshoot GC/construction-related field issues, including site readiness gaps, cabling/fiber handoff concerns, equipment placement, access constraints, power dependencies, and punch-list items impacting integration.
    • Perform or support call testing, data testing, E911 validation, alarm testing, and final On-Air readiness checks.
    • Review KPIs, RSSI, alarms, and site health after integration and escalate unresolved issues.
    • Maintain integration logs, command outputs, screenshots, issue records, and site status updates.
    • Prepare and submit the Closeout Package (COP) with required test results and acceptance evidence.

    Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of wireless network integration, commissioning, or field engineering experience preferred.
    • Practical experience with Telecommunication site integration processes and approved MOP execution preferred.
    • Experience working during live network maintenance windows and service-impacting cutovers.
    • Ability to read RFDS/CD documents, SIF files, IP plans, port assignments, and transport information.
    • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Ability to travel to sites, work flexible maintenance-window schedules, and comply with site safety and access requirements.
