Join our team as a key contributor to the development and application of vehicle electronic components. This role supports engineers in ensuring the successful integration of electronic systems within vehicles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, CATIA V5 (both 3D and 2D environments).
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Interest and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to work onsite at our Saline, Michigan office 5 days/week.
- Must be able to work up to 30% overtime.
- Prior work experience in the automotive industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle-specific mechanical design/development.
- Experience with wiring or other electrical background.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support engineers in the development and application of vehicle electronic components.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation according to engineering instructions.
- Support electronic part packaging in the vehicle using CATIA V5 CAD, in both the 3D and 2D environments.
- Update wiring specifications and parts lists based on detailed instructions from responsible engineers.
- Prepare part orders for build events or evaluation activities.
- Assist engineers and technicians with re-flashing ECUs and other vehicle update activities.
- Create and submit drawing comparison reports for engineer review.
- Support the maintenance and audit of open issues lists according to engineering instructions.
