    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor"s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 10 years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure planning, capacity planning, supply chain, strategy, business operations, finance, or management consulting.

    • 8 years of experience with leading cross-functional programs involving engineering, product, finance, and operations.

    • 8 years of experience with executive-level planning, governance, or operational decision-making across multiple organizations.

    • 5 years of experience collaborating with executive technical and business leaders without direct authority.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience leading infrastructure planning, capacity planning, supply planning, or investment planning at hyperscale.

    • Experience designing planning operating models, governance frameworks, or cross-functional business processes.

    • Experience driving executive planning reviews, decision forums, and operational rhythms involving executive leadership.

    • Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complex planning ecosystems into scalable operating mechanisms.

    • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence VP- and executive-level decisions.

    • Demonstrated ability to build new organizational capabilities, establish operating mechanisms, and lead transformational initiatives across large, matrixed organizations.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You"re equally comfortable explaining your team"s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

    The mission of the organization is to deliver establish common planning assumptions, telemetry, execution policies/principles, reporting and explainability that enable consistent planning and higher-confidence executive decision-making. Translate rapidly evolving product and business demand into integrated infrastructure plans spanning short-, medium- and long-term planning horizons. Enable rapid evaluation of alternatives, supply constraints and investment tradeoffs to support infrastructure allocation and prioritization decisions. Improve planning velocity, consistency and scalability through workflow automation, integrated planning systems, and operational tooling.

    You will own the execution of Alphabet"s integrated planning operating model. You will orchestrate one of Google"s most complex cross-functional planning motions, bringing together Product Areas, Engineering, Cloud Supply Chain, Finance, and executive leadership to translate evolving business demand into an executable infrastructure Plan of Record.

    You will build the execution mechanisms, operating rhythms, governance, and decision forums that enable Alphabet to continuously plan, evaluate tradeoffs, resolve cross-functional issues, and make infrastructure investment decisions with greater speed, predictability, and confidence.

    Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

    Responsibilities

    • Lead Alphabet"s integrated infrastructure planning execution across a 0-10 year planning horizon, transforming evolving product demand into a coherent infrastructure plan of record spanning product, engineering, supply chain, and finance.

    • Own execution of the monthly LRDP operating cadence, including planning reviews, executive decision forums, issue resolution, planning retrospectives, and publication of Alphabet"s infrastructure plan of record.

    • Drive alignment across product areas, engineering, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership to ensure demand, technical feasibility, and financial objectives converge into integrated infrastructure investment decisions.

    • Partner closely with planning intelligence, scenario planning, and planning tooling teams to integrate planning insights, scenario outcomes, workflow automation, and executive decision support into a unified planning process.

    • Define and scale planning execution mechanisms that improve predictability, reduce planning cycle time, minimize planning rework, and enable continuous infrastructure planning across Alphabet.
