Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily shipment activity, exceptions, delays, and resolution progress.
  • Support the FedEx Surround pilot through recurring metrics, scorecards, issue follow-up, and process-improvement tracking.
  • Prepare weekly shipment-performance and customer order-block reports, identify exceptions and trends, and track actions through resolution.
  • Analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks, process gaps, root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures, work instructions, controls, ownership models, escalation paths, and change logs.
  • Maintain issue logs, action trackers, corrective-action plans, and concise management-ready status reporting.
  • Coordinate assigned follow-up with FedEx, internal business partners, and technical support teams, personally driving actions through completion.
  • Provide flexible execution support for Customer Support team initiatives, operational surges, business process improvements, and issue-resolution priorities

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least three years of relevant experience in operations coordination, business process analysis, project coordination, logistics support, compliance operations, systems support, continuous improvement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally drive assigned work from identification through resolution and closeout.
  • Strong process-mapping and process-documentation skills, including SOPs, work instructions, controls, handoffs, ownership, and escalation paths.
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills, including data cleanup, lookups, pivot tables, exception analysis, trend reporting, and management-ready outputs.
  • Experience developing recurring reports, scorecards, dashboards, issue logs, and action trackers.
  • Practical systems aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to investigate data or process issues and coordinate with business and technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting shipping, carrier performance, order fulfillment, supply chain, customer operations, or logistics.
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven operations, including audit support, or controlled procedures.
  • Familiarity with SAP, FedEx reporting tools, Teams, Visio, or comparable platforms.
  • Business analysis, process-improvement, project-coordination, or systems training.
  • Education
  • Associate's degree with Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, information systems, analytics, or a related discipline preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Candidate Profile:
  • The strongest candidate will be a hands-on individual contributor who is comfortable reviewing operational reports, identifying exceptions, contacting internal or external partners, maintaining detailed trackers, creating process documentation, and producing concise performance reporting.
  • This is an execution-focused analyst role rather than a traditional project manager or meeting-coordination position.
