Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Leader
Reports to: Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics
Role Type: Senior Individual Contributor
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Position Summary
The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Leader will establish and operate the analytical and governance backbone of Arclin's Integrated Business Planning process. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics, this role will serve as the governance leader responsible for driving the transition from traditional S&OP practices to a fully integrated business planning framework.
This position will connect demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial perspectives across the organization; identify gaps and tradeoffs; and ensure leaders enter financial reconciliation and executive planning reviews with clear choices and decision-ready information. The role will play a critical part in aligning commercial, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and finance teams around a common planning model and 24-month planning horizon to support strategic business objectives, long-range growth, and organizational readiness initiatives.
The successful candidate will possess a unique combination of business acumen, analytical capability, executive presence, and change leadership skills to build, implement, and continuously improve a sustainable IBP process across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, operationalization, and continuous improvement of Arclin's Integrated Business Planning process, translating executive vision into a repeatable monthly planning cadence.
  • Design, document, and manage the monthly IBP calendar, including demand reviews, supply reviews, financial reconciliation, pre-IBP, and executive IBP meetings.
  • Consolidate demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial inputs into a cohesive enterprise business plan with a focus on a 24-month planning horizon.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between commercial forecasts, supply capabilities, operational planning, and financial objectives.
  • Lead the financial reconciliation process by aligning operational volume plans with financial forecasts and facilitating resolution of planning gaps across business functions.
  • Identify material gaps to plan, challenge assumptions, and develop scenarios that clarify revenue, margin, service, inventory, and capacity tradeoffs.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready materials that clearly communicate recommendations, risks, opportunities, and required decisions.
  • Present recommendations, business risks, scenario analyses, and tradeoff evaluations to senior leadership teams, influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and drive alignment among stakeholders prior to executive review meetings.
  • Maintain decision logs, action owners, due dates, and risk tracking while escalating unresolved issues through established governance processes.
  • Drive organizational adoption of new planning processes, governance standards, and decision-making frameworks through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure consistent execution of a sustainable and repeatable monthly planning cycle across business functions.
  • Build process maturity through standard work, role clarity, governance structures, meeting effectiveness reviews, and participant training initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance to establish one aligned set of planning assumptions, enabling the organization to operate from a unified business outlook.
  • Support executive leadership by transforming complex operational and financial information into actionable business recommendations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience leading, facilitating, or managing S&OP, IBP, demand planning, supply planning, operations planning, finance planning, or related business planning processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or facilitating S&OP and/or IBP processes, including demand reviews, supply reviews, financial reconciliation activities, executive reviews, or similar cross-functional planning forums.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across commercial, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and finance organizations without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, operational planning, and financial planning relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational and financial data into concise business recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
  • Strong executive communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to senior leadership teams.
  • Experience working with ERP, planning, reporting, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing, launching, or maturing an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives involving cross-functional business transformation.
  • Experience utilizing SAP, Power BI, SQL, planning systems, forecasting platforms, or scenario-modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of process manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, multi-site operations, and raw material or capacity-constrained environments.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBF certification, or comparable supply chain and planning credentials.
  • Experience supporting executive planning processes in complex, multi-business-unit organizations.
