Intake Care Senior Representative

We are seeking an Intake Care Senior Representative to support a leading healthcare organization. This role serves as the first point of contact for members seeking behavioral health and utilization management services, providing intake support, care coordination, and exceptional customer service in a remote environment.

Details

• Location: Remote (Must reside in TN, NM, OK, IL, TX, or MT)
• Shift Time: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
• Pay Rate: $21/hour

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for members and eligible dependents requesting services.
• Assign clients to appropriate care team members or behavioral health providers for assessment and counseling.
• Provide high-quality customer service while meeting response time and service standards.
• Process intake requests and make referrals within established guidelines.
• Support utilization management intake operations and daily workflow activities.
• Assist with training and onboarding of team members as needed.
• Provide guidance on procedures, workflows, and best practices.
• Resolve escalated member or process-related issues.
• Work independently while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working in a call center, healthcare, insurance, or customer support environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, utilization management, or care coordination.
• Experience handling member intake, referrals, or eligibility-related inquiries.
• Prior experience assisting with employee training or mentoring team members.
• Knowledge of healthcare processes, terminology, and customer service best practices.
