POSITION OVERVIEW
Initiates absence management database processes through utilization of integrated disability management protocols while providing department administrative support.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
1. Follow pre-defined absence management case workflows within the absence management database to classify absence management cases for further work by Integrated Disability Specialists.
2. Communicate with employee via phone and e-mail to obtain additional information regarding their absence request.
3. Prepare absence case notes to document case activities in compliance with standard practices and regulations.
4. Provide initial troubleshooting support for employees who are having difficulty in entering an absence management case into the databse. Create absence management cases within the absence management databse for supervisors or employees who may be unable to do so.
5. Manage all Integrated Disability Recovery Center incoming and outgoing hard copy mail including case management communications prepared by Integrated Disability Specialists
6. Work within client's Accounts Payable systems to process invoices from vendors, reimbursements issued to employees or membership dues.
7. Monitor and respond to calls left on the Integrated Disability Recovery Center group voicemail and e-mail boxes.
8. Maintain confidential employee records and personal identifiable information.
WHAT S NEEDED
Education requirements are listed below:Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources management, industrial management, health care administration, psychology, or equivalent education and/or experience.
Work Experience requirement listed below:
Experience in medical terminology, case management, or human resource management preferred but no prior work experience required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Physical demand level is Sedentary and position is classified as onsite.
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. Strong conflict resolution skills desired.
2. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs/databases quickly. Competency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Organizational and analytic/problem solving skills.
4. Prioritization skills.
