Underwriter - Excess Casualty - Windsor, CT

Seeking individual with experience underwriting Excess Casualty risks who can:

• Analyze new and renewal submissions.

• Determine insurability regarding exposures and coverages.

• Ensure adherence to the company's philosophy, underwriting policies, and risk appetite.

• Monitor production and profitability, adjust when metrics don't meet requirements.

• Analyze policy wording and make changes or modifications when necessary for individual projects.

• Manage producers and customers.

We are looking for somebody with 6+ years hands-on underwriting experience with a strong background in excess casualty.
