Responsibilities
Develop insurance quotes, present coverage solutions, and close new business sales
Generate insurance quotes and follow up with prospects in a timely manner
Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, marketing campaigns, lead databases, and outbound calling
Build rapport quickly and earn client trust while guiding prospects through the sales process
Identify client needs and recommend personalized insurance solutions to protect what matters most
Follow up consistently with prospects to maintain a strong sales pipeline
Stay organized and manage daily activity in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Collaborate with team members during regular meetings, training, and strategy sessions
Represent the agency with professionalism, positivity, and a customer-first mindset
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Sales experience, customer-facing experience, or business development experience preferred
Comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and closing sales
Ability to build rapport and develop client relationships
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and follow through
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
Professional phone etiquette and confidence speaking with prospective clients
Coachable with a willingness to learn sales systems, scripts, and insurance products
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM and quoting systems
Previous insurance experience is a plus, but not required
Must be willing to obtain or already possess applicable insurance licensing
