Insurance Sales Representative - American Family Insurance Agency

We are seeking a licensed, motivated, and professional Insurance Sales Representative to join our fast-paced sales team. In this role, you will focus entirely on new business production and pipeline growth. To ensure your success, our agency provides a dedicated support staff to handle all routine customer service, billing, and policy administration, allowing you to focus completely on your daily sales goals. This is a phone-first, high-activity position requiring consistent daily outreach to prospects, warm leads, and cross-sell opportunities. We offer a stable guaranteed hourly base salary, a straightforward flat-rate commission structure, and monthly performance bonuses.

Hours: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 5:00 PM (Enjoy a true 35-hour workweek with no late nights or weekends!)Base Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour guaranteed base (scaled based on license types and language skills) + Competitive Flat-Rate Commissions & Monthly Performance Bonuses.

Salary Range: $55000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Conduct active phone outreach, making approximately 80 outbound calls per day to warm leads, active prospects, and existing client lists.
• Maximize talk time by engaging clients in meaningful conversations to discover coverage gaps and build strong professional relationships.
• Manage a structured sales pipeline with disciplined follow-ups to ensure no prospect falls through the cracks.
• Meet daily and monthly new business production goals by quoting and closing auto, home, life, and small commercial policies.
• Maintain clean, accurate data entry within our agency database and sales tracking systems.

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required. (An active Life & Health license is highly preferred).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred and qualifies for our top-tier base salary bracket.
• Proven comfort with high-volume phone environments and a track record of handling client objections professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy daily schedule independently.
• A coachable attitude and a desire to continuously improve sales techniques based on feedback.
