Description

Insurance Sales Professional - State Farm Agent Team Member

About the Role

Clint Wilson State Farm is hiring sales team members for our offices in Fishers and Muncie, Indiana. You will talk with local families and business owners about their auto, home, and life coverage, build quotes that fit what they need, and help them get covered. No insurance background? That is fine. We provide paid training and licensing support, and we teach you the products, the systems, and the sales process.

Two Offices, Your Choice

We have openings at both locations: 13577 126th St in Fishers and 3011 W Jackson St in Muncie. Tell us which office works best for you when you apply.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Call and follow up with new leads, referrals, and current customers
  • Ask good questions to understand what each person needs to protect
  • Build auto, home, and life quotes and explain them in plain language
  • Book appointments and keep your follow-ups on schedule so nothing slips
  • Review current customers' coverage and point out gaps worth closing
  • Log your calls, quotes, and sales in the agency system
  • Work toward clear weekly targets with coaching from Clint and the team

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or any job working directly with customers (helpful, not required)
  • Comfort picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you have not met
  • Willingness to earn the required Indiana insurance licenses, with our help
  • Steady follow-through and good organization
  • Openness to coaching and feedback

Who Does Well Here

  • People who like a clear goal and want to see their progress every week
  • People who want their income to grow with their effort
  • People looking for a long-term career skill, not a short-term job

Who May Want a Different Role

  • Anyone who would rather wait for customers to call in than reach out first
  • Anyone who wants pay that does not depend on results

Benefits

  • Base salary plus performance-based commission
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days)
  • Paid company holidays
  • Clear career advancement paths

Pay range: $70,000-$85,000 per year

This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met. Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range.
