The Position: We are looking for an Insurance Follow up Manager to join our team!
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3-5 years of management experience
Overview:
This position will report to the Director of Insurance and be responsible for overseeing the process for Medicare review, verifications, recertifications, and prior authorizations. Below are some key functions and skills for this opportunity:
Monitors department queues and metrics
Ensures that all employees are cross trained and make adjustments based on business need
Monitors department compliance with Medicare and Private Insurance guidelines
Manages Medicare review and verifications for Standard Power and Complex Power
Responsible for communicating industry changes in guidelines to others as needed
Ability to maintain confidentiality is very important
