    Pay: $140,000.00 per year

    Note: Must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and have 3+ years of insurance defense or closely related civil litigation experience.

    Job Description

    • Defend clients in complex insurance defense litigation matters
    • Handle cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, transportation, construction, premises liability, and product defects
    • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery
    • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
    • Take and defend depositions
    • Participate in mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings
    • Manage active files, deadlines, and client communications in a fast-paced practice
    • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on litigation strategy, evaluation, and resolution
    • Support trial preparation and overall case development from inception through resolution

    Qualifications

    • J.D. from an accredited law school
    • Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
    • 3+ years of insurance defense or related civil litigation experience
    • Experience handling litigation matters involving bodily injury, wrongful death, transportation, construction, premises liability, or product liability is strongly preferred
    • Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
    • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with solid judgment and attention to detail
