    Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

    Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, offering the flexibility to balance in-office collaboration with remote work.

    Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Michigan and have at least 1 year of experience practicing as an attorney. Prior insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience is preferred but not required.

    Job Description

    • Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution with guidance from experienced attorneys as needed.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    • Conduct legal research, written discovery, depositions, and case preparation.
    • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
    • Develop litigation strategies while collaborating with attorneys and clients.
    • Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
    • Build strong client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality legal service.

    Qualifications

    • Active Michigan Bar license.
    • 1+ year of experience practicing as an attorney.
    • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with civil litigation is helpful.
    • Insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience is preferred.
