Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong background in New Jersey automobile insurance defense and personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3 10 years of legal experience, an active New Jersey Bar license, and the ability to manage litigation matters independently.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
- 3 10 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
- Demonstrated experience handling New Jersey automobile accident and personal injury defense cases.
- Experience managing litigation cases, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and develop effective litigation strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage automobile accident and personal injury defense cases from initial evaluation through settlement or trial.
- Conduct discovery, prepare for and take depositions, review evidence, and develop defense strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
- Evaluate liability, damages, and litigation exposure; negotiate settlements and participate in mediations.
- Communicate with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, clients, and opposing counsel while maintaining case deadlines and preparing matters for trial when necessary.
Salary, Benefits & Perks
- Base Salary: $135,000 $165,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
