Insurance Defense Attorney – Allentown, PA

L&W Recruiting is working exclusively with a well-regarded defense litigation firm in the Lehigh Valley to place a sharp, self-directed Insurance Defense Attorney at their Allentown, PA office. This is a confidential search.

The right candidate knows how to run a caseload without hand-holding. You'll handle your matters from first notice through resolution — whether that's a negotiated settlement, summary judgment, or trial. The firm handles a sophisticated mix of catastrophic-injury, commercial auto, premises liability, and professional liability defense for regional and national carriers.

What You'll Be Doing

Taking ownership of a full defense docket from day one.

Drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, and defending depositions.

Appearing in Pennsylvania state and federal courts for hearings, conferences, and trials.

Working directly with carrier clients and claims professionals to develop strategy and manage exposure.

Collaborating with a close-knit litigation team that values efficiency, accountability, and results.

What You Need

2–6+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.

Active Pennsylvania bar license (New Jersey a plus).

Hands-on motion practice and deposition experience.

The ability to manage a substantial docket independently and hit deadlines consistently.

Strong writing skills and courtroom composure.
