Insurance Defense Attorney (2+ Years)

A well-established regional law firm is adding an insurance defense attorney to its Virginia Beach office. You'll handle a caseload of defense matters for insurance carriers and their insureds, taking each file from assignment through resolution.

What you'll do:

- Evaluate new claims and build strategy for each case

- Draft pleadings, discovery and dispositive motions

- Take and defend depositions, and attend mediations

- Report regularly to carriers and clients on case status

- Support trial preparation and appear in court

What you'll need:

- J.D. and active Virginia bar license

- 2+ years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense or civil litigation

- Strong writing and analytical skills

- Ability to manage a full caseload on your own

What's offered: a competitive salary of $100K-$120K, a hybrid schedule, full benefits, and room to grow with a respected Hampton Roads practice.
