Location: Fairfax, VA

A law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 2–6 years of experience to join its litigation team. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in continuing to build an insurance defense practice while handling cases through all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance defense matters from initial evaluation through resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.

• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.

• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.

• Develop case strategies and prepare matters for trial.

• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel regarding case developments.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Active Virginia Bar membership in good standing.

• 2–6 years of insurance defense litigation experience.

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

• Commitment to responsive client communication and effective case management.
