Insurance Defense Associate – Pennsylvania & New Jersey (dual bar, 3–5 yrs)

About this role

An established Philadelphia-based defense firm with offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey is adding an insurance defense associate. You will carry real files in a collaborative, mentorship-driven group where partners teach and associates advance, at a firm that values entrepreneurial, client-focused attorneys who want a long-term career.

What you will do

• Handle discovery, motion practice, depositions and trial preparation on insurance defense matters
• Communicate directly with carriers, adjusters and insureds
• Work alongside partners on case strategy from pleadings through resolution

What we are looking for

• Pennsylvania AND New Jersey bar admission (both active)
• 3–5 years of insurance defense experience
• Strong litigation, discovery, motion practice and client communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment

Compensation: $120,000–$145,000, depending on experience.
