HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked Law Firm with offices across the East Coast to add an Insurance Defense Associate to their growing team in NYC/Long Island. They have been in business for over 75+ years and have over 250+ Attorneys across their office locations nationwide. You can sit out of their NYC or LI office locations when onsite.
We Offer:
Pay: $125-$160K+ Base Salary plus Bonus! (all in estimate $155k - $190k)
Unique Bonus Structure: Up to $30K

Associate Responsibilities:
Manage defense litigation files from inception through resolution, including court and arbitration appearances
Draft pleadings, discovery demands, responses, and dispositive motions with supporting memorandums of law
Conduct file analysis and draft comprehensive status reports for insurance carrier clients and law firm partners
Prepare for and represent clients at depositions, pre-trial conferences, and hearings across New York venues
Maintain billable time entry to meet target hours (1,9002,000 annually) while balancing a active PIP/No-Fault caseload
Associate Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on No-Fault / Personal Injury Protection (PIP) defense preferred
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York State Bar
