Insurance Customer Service Rep

This is an entry-level position for someone who is professional, personable and interested in building a career in the insurance industry. Previous insurance experience is welcome but is not required. We are willing to train the right person and help a motivated candidate develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become a licensed insurance professional.

The position will begin with an emphasis on reception, customer service and day-to-day agency support. As you learn the business and become licensed, there will be opportunities to take on additional insurance responsibilities and develop into a more advanced role within the agency.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and greet customers professionally

Support licensed agents with policy and customer-service activities

Learn insurance products, terminology and agency procedures

Work toward obtaining a California insurance license if not already licensed

Develop the skills necessary to take on greater customer-service and sales responsibilities

Is fluent in both English and Spanish

Is dependable, organized and comfortable working with the public

Has good computer and telephone skills

Is willing to learn and accept coaching

Can work in our Pasadena office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
