Insurance Agent - Jefferson City, MO and Columbia, MO

We’re gearing up for our next class of Insurance Agents, with an anticipated start date in early 2027. We’re still working out the details, but we’re excited to start connecting with future team members!

About The Role:

As an Insurance Agent, you’ll deliver a one-of-a-kind insurance experience to our Veterans, helping them find the right coverage for their needs. You’ll collaborate with Loan Officers, insurance carrier partners, and our Operations team to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

Want a career where your hard work pays off? With base pay plus commission, first-year earnings typically range from $65K–$75K. Top performers have earned nearly $100K in their first year, with opportunities to keep growing their earnings year after year.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

• Reaching out to customers promptly, sharing quotes, answering their questions, and helping them find the insurance solution that fits just right.
• Taking care of issuing insurance policies while figuring out their overall needs and offering options for home, auto, and other types of coverage.
• Keeping in touch with our Operations teams and insurance carriers to make sure policies are accurate and everything moves smoothly from the customer to the loan team.
• Building great relationships with Loan Officers, insurance carriers, and other partners—gathering info, keeping everyone in the loop, and delivering an awesome customer experience.
• You'll spend much of your day communicating with borrowers by phone, email, and other communication tools. Business calls may be recorded and reviewed using AI-assisted technology to support coaching, quality assurance, compliance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Pitching in wherever needed to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:

• You’re competitive, thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, and love solving problems while working with others.
• You’re hardworking, adaptable, and can handle shifting priorities like a pro.
• You’ve got great communication skills (both written and verbal) and know how to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Attention to detail? Check. You’re the type who stays on top of tasks, meets deadlines, follows up, and can juggle multiple responsibilities without missing a beat.
• You enjoy being part of a team, collaborating to get things done, and bringing a positive vibe to the workplace.
• You’ve got experience working with customers over the phone (at least a year), and if you’re not already Property & Casualty licensed, you’re ready to get licensed when you join us.
• You’re comfortable with basic computer tech and ready to dive into tools designed for an internet-based company.
• Oh, and you show up—reliable, ready to go, and committed to making a difference every day.

This role primarily follows regular business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends to help us best serve our customers. You can expect to work approximately one weeknight per month and one Saturday per quarter.
